Teaching
Teaching has been an integral part of my work at least since undergrad, where I tutored for a public elementary school in Los Angeles through USC’s Joint Educational Project. Now as a PhD student, I have the awesome responsibilty to share the joy of problem solving to university students. I aim to instruct my students towards mathematical mastery and understanding, which is achieved through clear presentations, active classroom discussions, and personal support.

Highlighted Evaluations
Here are a few excerpts from anonymously submitted teaching evaluations conducted by UCI’s Mathematics Department:
Such a kind and welcoming TA, always willing to answer any and all questions. A genuine person who cares about students. Always going above and beyond to help us out and even works to accommodate student schedules to allow for more helping. (Summer 2025, Math 5A)
Luke encourages us to speak up and contribute to flow diagram connecting topics we’ve learned. He strives to help us with any material we’re struggling with and does his best, especially during the activities. (Summer 2025, Math 5B)
